Catering Manager

Purpose of Role

We are currently recruiting for a Catering Manager to join the team at Far Grange Holiday Park.

 

Role Objective:

* To ensure the smooth day to day running of a Kitchens, preparing meals for guests per shift
* Ensure a safe working environment by complying with current legislation with regards to Food Hygiene Regulations, HASAW Act, COSHH & HACCP.
* Provide a high quality service in the delivery of Conference & Events

Key Tasks:

* Ensure a high standard of cleanliness is maintained at all times.
* Ensure Food Safety Documentation is maintained as per Company Food Policy.
* Ensure that the highest possible standards of Customer Service is delivered at all times
* To continually improve upon the performance of the Department.
* Maintain adequate staffing levels.
* Training & Development of new and current employees, to ensure that all departmental employees are trained to the recognised standards that meet the needs of the business.
* Liaise regularly with Complex Manager to discuss & prioritise any Department needs.

Performance Targets:

* Continually monitor Guest Satisfaction levels
* Maintain Team Satisfaction
* Achieve Budgetary controls with regards to Food, Labour & Utilities.

 

Requirements

 

The ideal candidate will have:

* Proven experience in busy Kitchen environment with a commitment to consistent delivery
* Advanced Food Hygiene (minimum) and knowledge of HACCP.
* Ability to organise and prioritise a demanding workload through “hands on” management and leading by example.
* Excellent communications and motivational skills
* Ability to work under pressure
* Flexibility with regards to working hours, to meet the demands of both the business and the team
